Prices are public Uber Eats menu observations from Athens, Ohio and Bozeman, Montana, before taxes, delivery charges and tips. Both item dialogs explicitly selected Medium and displayed a separate Large upgrade. These are two restaurant examples, not a nationwide price list.
How much more are large onion rings?
At 949 East State Street in Athens, medium was $3.89 and the large upgrade added $0.40, giving $4.29. At 1922 West Main Street in Bozeman, medium was $3.99 and the upgrade added $0.60, giving $4.59. Read across the restaurant table to compare the two sizes at one address.
The upgrade was about 10% of the medium price in Athens and 15% in Bozeman, rounded to whole percentages. That is a price comparison only. The menus did not provide a guaranteed piece count or measured serving weight, so it does not establish which size has the lowest price per ring.
Which onion ring sizes were checked?
Medium and Large were the only size selections shown in the two inspected order dialogs. Medium was the selected starting option; Large displayed an additional charge. The general menu tile simply said Onion Rings, so its starting amount should not be relabeled as Small or Value.
Burger King’s official nutrition explorer also names Small and Value Onion Rings, but this check did not establish their prices at the sampled restaurants. They are therefore absent from the price table. A missing price row does not mean a size is unavailable everywhere.
Onion rings, French fries or Have-sies?
Choose onion rings for an all-ring side. French fries are the potato alternative, while Have-sies combines fries and onion rings in one serving. Burger King describes that combination in its official Have-sies announcement. The announcement explains the product, not today’s price at your restaurant.
The Burger King fries and sides guide provides the broader side comparison. Match sizes and ordering channels before comparing totals; a general fries listing and an explicitly selected large onion-ring order are different portions. A mixed serving also does not mean two full individual sides.
Ordering onion rings with a meal
If you already want a burger or chicken meal, inspect its included side choices before adding a separate carton. An available substitution and a separately purchased side can produce different totals. Any meal upgrade should be read from that meal’s own choices; the standalone large surcharge above is not a universal meal-upgrade fee.
For a smaller chicken order, the Royal Crispy Wrap guide explains single wraps and the two-wrap meal. The Burger King menu hub compares other main dishes and meals, and the drinks guide covers separately listed beverages.
Dipping sauces and extras
Check the sauce choices on your selected restaurant’s order. A dip can be included, optional or separately charged depending on the item and channel. This price check did not establish a two-restaurant sauce allowance or fee, so the ring prices above do not promise a free dip.
For a complete basket comparison, keep the same ring size, sauce quantity and drink choice. The value menu guide can help you compare other small orders, but an app promotion’s conditions should be read separately from regular menu prices.
How many onion rings are in an order?
The checked listings sold medium and large servings rather than a fixed count. We did not count a purchased portion, and the image does not establish how many pieces you will receive. If quantity is important for sharing, ask the selected restaurant how it portions the side.
Onion ring calories by size
Burger King’s nutrition explorer, checked October 21, lists 290 calories for Medium Onion Rings and 430 for Large. Those figures match the explicit size options in the two checked menus. The general menu tile showed 170 calories, which the official explorer assigns to Value; it should not be attached to the selected medium serving. Sauces add their own nutrition.
Are these the prices at my local Burger King?
They are dated examples from two identified restaurants. Your local price can differ, and a delivery menu may differ from the restaurant counter or Burger King app. Choose your location and final order options to see the amount you will actually pay.
