How these three size records were checked
The medium record is the original menu’s default World Famous Fries listing, shown with 320 cal. Small and large were calculated from the displayed base price and explicit size adjustments on the Athens, Ohio and Oxford, Mississippi Uber Eats menus. They have their own observation date and are not estimates borrowed from the medium range.
Compare sizes within the same restaurant
The location table above uses matched restaurants where a size was recorded. In Athens, small fries were listed at $2.86; Oxford’s small listing was $3.39. Large fries reversed that order: Oxford was $4.99, while Athens was $5.31. There is no single fixed size-upgrade charge across both restaurants.
The medium observations in those rows are dated October 8; the small and large options are dated October 10. They are nearby checks rather than one simultaneous receipt. Compare the selected menu options again when ordering if an exact current size upgrade matters.
What the range says about value
Small has the lowest sample median at $3.12, medium/default is $3.99, and large is $5.15. Those medians use different sample sizes, so subtracting them would not give the typical upgrade charge at an individual restaurant. We have not weighed servings and do not claim a measured price per ounce.
Fries included in a meal or Happy Meal
The Extra Value Meals guide separates meal prices from sandwich-only prices. McDonald’s official McCrispy Meal listing includes medium fries and a medium soft drink. Avoid adding another fries price when the meal listing already includes them.
