Prices were checked October 21, 2026 on public Uber Eats menus for two named restaurants in Champaign, Illinois and Columbia, Missouri. They are delivery-menu listing amounts before tax, fees and tips. Counter prices, checkout totals and local availability were not confirmed.
The checked Texas Toast price is for one slice
Champaign listed a separately purchased Texas Toast at $1.35; Columbia listed it at $1.38. The difference is small for one extra, but use the price from your selected restaurant when ordering several. These observations do not establish a nationwide toast price or a discount for buying a larger quantity.
The official Texas Toast page identifies the standard portion as one slice and lists 150 calories. It is a separate menu item from the bun used for the sandwich. Neither the bread type in another meal nor an image of several slices changes the purchase unit in the extra listing.
Which combos already include Texas Toast?
- Box Combo: toast is included alongside its chicken, fries and coleslaw.
- Caniac Combo: toast is included; the larger finger count does not mean two slices are listed.
- 3 Finger Combo: toast is included.
- Kids and Sandwich combos: their standard descriptions do not list a separate slice of Texas Toast.
The official menu is the source for these contents. If you want two slices with a meal that already includes one, the extra quantity is one. Adding toast to a Kids Combo changes the order differently: its standard description starts without toast.
What do two or more extra slices cost?
Two separately purchased slices work out to $2.70 in Champaign and $2.76 in Columbia. Eight extra slices work out to $10.80 and $11.04 respectively. These totals multiply each store’s individual price; they are budgeting examples, not confirmed catering-tray offers or a large-order quote.
Keep included slices separate from purchased extras. If four people each have a toast-including combo and each wants a second slice, you need four extras, not eight. If the same four people share chicken from a Tailgate, check that pack’s contents before counting any toast as included.
Buying extra toast versus changing a side
A standalone price tells you the cost of buying an additional slice. It does not confirm whether your restaurant allows a swap, charges for it or offers a particular toast preparation. Review the available changes on the selected order. We have not verified a universal free coleslaw-to-toast swap or a separate price for special toast requests.
If you also want another dipping portion, Cane’s Sauce is priced separately. One extra toast plus one extra sauce totals $1.80 in Champaign or $1.83 in Columbia. Those additions leave the original meal contents unchanged unless you separately choose a customization.
